 Quality - We select the highest-quality components to assemble our computer systems.  Our technical staff that has been with us since the beginning of ARJAY back in 1990 selects the hardware that builds our computer systems, so we know that the system is built with quality and high-performance in mind, plus, our technicians don’t want to see our own computers coming in for service due to shoddy equipment! We have never sacrificed quality for price. Quality translates into performance and durability. Quality is the image ARJAY wishes to portray to every home & business that purchases equipment and services from us. We have built our business on this image, and have continued with this process for over ten years. Quality creates a mutual benefit; ARJAY is not burdened with repairing its own PC’s, and customers do not carry the burden of constantly needing service on their PC’s. Service - When you purchase a computer system from ARJAY, you have the benefit of local service.  We are equipped with A+ certified technicians with over ten years of experience that take pride in their work.  Our interest is to offer the highest-quality service available so our customer can be back in business as soon as possible.  We don’t want to perform the same service twice because it wasn’t done right the first time, so our goal is to do it right the first time, effectively and efficiently.  

Experience - ARJAY is a family owned business that has served the community for over fifteen years.  The same people who started ARJAY are all here today, so there is no management-shifting, pay-cuts, quality-cuts, or cutting corners in any way.  We are here to stay, by the grace of God! Our salesmen have all the knowledge needed to equip our customers with the right package.  Our technical staff is A+ certified and has been performing technical service for computers and related hardware at ARJAY for over ten years.  Again, we know all about the hardware we sell and since we actually manufacture the computers ourselves, there’s no scratching heads over services done on computers we sell. 

4.                   Value - ARJAY thinks of value as “bang for the buck..”  Similar to automobile-comparisons in auto magazines, bang for the buck signifies the best all-around package for the money.  We take quality, performance, warranty, service, and durability and gage the value of our PC’s on those terms.  Speaking on behalf of our computer systems, we decide that price is not, and should not be, the deciding factor in our system builds.  For example, mass-merchandised PC's bought from a magazine ad, Internet, or department store are constantly competing against each other for the lowest price, not the highest-quality.  In a perfect world, you'd get high-quality and low-price in the same purchase.  This inevitably causes a cut in quality to get price down low enough to be a contender.  ARJAY does not waste time trying to get bottom-dollar systems out the door.  The reasoning behind this is simple - we don’t want to compromise our reputation, and we don’t want a guilty conscience!  Another consideration when determining the value of a PC is the long-term relationship.  When you buy a computer from a mail-order company, your relationship is phone or fee-based!  How do you enjoy waiting on hold listening to dreaded elevator music for twenty minutes?  How do you like sending your thousand-plus dollar PC back to the manufacturer for service and being without a system for two weeks?  How about when you get the system back, all your data is gone and your printer no longer works?  The list goes on.  We know, because we service those so-called bargains daily, and the majority of those customers are unhappy and dissatisfied with the product they thought they were getting a deal on.  Now, that one hundred bucks doesn't sound like such a good deal, does it?  We are local, and therefore we are always here to help when your system needs service or you just have a simple question. 

5.                   Warranty - All of our new ARJAY-branded systems are equipped with a three-year limited warranty - STANDARD. Unlike the sale-price mass-produced PC's out there, we don't offer any of our new PC's with anything under that.  Another advantage to buying local, you can depend on us to fulfill the warranty honestly.  The monitors we sell are all covered by a three-year limited warranty, so you are covered all around.  If you run a business or simply cannot continue life without a monitor, we will furnish you with a loaner, if available, to get you back up and running while your monitor is being repaired/replaced under warranty.  Try getting that service from Gateway.  How about Staples? Or Best Buy? Or Circuit City?  We also carry most replacement parts in stock so your down-time is minimal in the case of a component failure.

6.                   Upgrade - Many people think that computers are “obsolete” a month after they purchased them.  Not So.  In fact, the original IBM PC at 4.77MHz (not GHz) is no faster or slower than it was the day it was purchased in 1981.  What makes you think your computer is getting slower is the new software being developed every day that requires more “horsepower” to run properly.  Other issues like running out of space, or running too many programs at once, can cause the computer’s performance to diminish.  These statements are true, but do not necessarily mean your computer is obsolete, at least not with the computers we sell.  All our computers are 100% industry-standard, and are therefore 100% upgradeable.  If Junior buys a new game that seems to slow the performance of the system down, simply call ARJAY and we can determine what the best option would be to “speed it up.” We also state to all of our customers who buy computer systems from us to bring the computer in once a year for a check-up.  This is a $30 service that includes a full interior and exterior cleaning of the computer unit as well as any recommendations on the computer’s well-being.  If it is noted that the computer is running low on resources, we notify the customer of this issue and optionally repair or upgrade, as needed.  This isn’t so ARJAY can make extra money after the original sale (although it is a nice benefit!), but it keeps the customer’s PC running at its optimal level of performance and reliability.

7.                   Repair - Since we manufacture our computers, we have basically every part needed for repair on ARJAY PC’s.  We also know exactly how the computer is built, what the layout is inside and out and what components are inside.  This makes for an efficient job when performing service and repairs.  Our computers are also 100% industry standard, as stated above, and all the components inside the computer are assembled into a large, durable case that has lots of room and is easy to work with.  Again, efficiency is executed, which means less time without your computer and in the case it is out of warranty, makes for less dough out of your pocket!  When purchasing a so-called “value-packed” low-buck system, you usually get a computer that is actually smaller in size than ours.  This generates problems in itself with heat dissipation issues, but also makes for a time-consuming job when performing repairs on the inside of the unit.  When time means money, that cool-looking space saver doesn’t look so “cool” any more.  Basically, we engineer our computers intelligently and bring a true quality package that functions as good as it looks and gives the customer value from the day its bought and beyond.

8.                   Convenience - Most of our customers are local and we do very little mail-order sales.  Therefore, when you buy a computer system from ARJAY, any other needs you may have after the initial purchase can be done right here.  Need ink for your printer? We got it.  Want a faster video-card?  No problem.  Want more memory? Again, we have it covered. Want to spend some extra money?  Well, no problem of course! Any service or upgrades on your computer unit, in or out of warranty as stated above is performed right here at ARJAY.  On-site service is also available and can usually be performed same-day or second-day from scheduled date.  You can simply walk in to ARJAY any day of the week (except for Sunday) and name your request without having to call the computer’s manufacturer and get a bunch of jargon on the other end of the line.  Any time you wish to have your computer serviced, just bring her right in to ARJAY, rather than boxing it up, carrying it to a UPS shipper and sending it off for two weeks. 

9.                   Care - We care about our customers.  We care about them so much, we are willing to lose money protecting them!  How?  By not selling sub-standard equipment at breaking-low prices that will produce an unhappy, dissatisfied customer.  Sure, we may lose sales over this method, but we don’t want our customers spreading bad word about us, and being justified by doing so!  As already stated, we put quality above everything when assembling our systems, as well as when servicing or upgrading them.  We are not an office superstore or wholesale warehouse, so we simply cannot afford to mistreat people.  For example, if our customers are dissatisfied with the sale in any way, we lose business.  Since all we sell is computer-related hardware, software, and service, we will lose a big chunk of our market if people are not repeating business with us.  We also have a conscience, and we are not willing to bear the responsibility or dissatisfied customers.  That’s the difference in ARJAY and an office-superstore or wholesaler.  Computer systems are only “part” of their business which means that if they lose all of their computer-related market, they will still get business off of the other 90% of their stock.  They also do very little, if any, service on the computers they sell.  In fact, if a Compaq Presario fails in use, most companies that sell them ship them of to get them serviced, even if you purchase the one hundred dollar-plus extended warranty package.  It is a shame so many people fall into this trap, but the good news is that people are smart enough not to get bitten twice, which send them to refuge at ARJAY.

            Additional Service - We offer a variety of additional services for our customers such as service contracts, Internet service including DSL & T1 high-speed access, on-site service, and special reduced prices, just to name a few. Our service contract is state-of-the-art and is mostly put in service with business users.  Different rates apply to the certain applications, but normally a reduced-rate on-site service fee and system maintenance are part of the package.  Our internet service, RJIA.NET, is arguably the best in the county.  We have absolutely no busy-signals, and a high-performance, virtually bug-free service to greater extend our stand on quality.  Simply put, there’s very little ways that ARJAY cannot help make life easier however, we are still working on a computerized maid!
